Responsibilities include oversight over formal and informal enforcement actions and investigations, representation of agency in court proceedings, Federal Reserve System operations, and legal issues relating to monetary policy and consumer laws.

Oversaw major Federal Reserve enforcement actions and investigations against domestic and banking organizations, including actions relating to residential mortgage servicing, U.S. sanctions and tax law violations, foreign exchange manipulation, and violations of consumer protection laws.

Joined Federal Reserve Board as a staff attorney in 1976.
