Nandita Bakhshi has been involved in diverse aspects of banking during her nearly 30-year career. Since joining the bank, she has led a major rebranding, sharpened the bank's focus on the customer experience, and is building a culture of innovation. Bakhshi oversees the bank's five main business lines of Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking, Small and Medium Enterprise Banking, Personal Finance and Wealth Management as well as its functional lines - a total team of 10,000 employees in more than 20 states. Bakhshi is a member of the FDIC Advisory Committee on Economic Inclusion and serves on the Global Board of Directors of Operation Hope, the Board of Trustees of World Affairs and the Supervisory Board of The Clearing House. Bakhshi holds a Masters of Arts degree in international relations from Jadavpur University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Calcutta.
