Kausik Rajgopal serves as the Managing Partner for McKinsey & Company’s Western U.S. Region; covering Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Silicon Valley. He co-leads McKinsey’s global Fintech efforts. Outside the U.S., he serves clients in Canada, Asia, and Australia. Since joining McKinsey in 1997, Kausik has worked in a range of sectors including Financial Services, Technology and Fintech. His recent work covers themes such as digitization of financial services, customer experience, impact of tech ecosystems in banking, and fintech partnerships. Kausik is an author and frequent speaker at industry conferences, including Money 20/20, BAI, and CFPB panels on Payments and Fintech. He holds a patent for expedited electronic payments processing. Kausik serves on the Boards of the Bay Area Council, the World Affairs Council, the San Francisco Symphony and Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. He lives in Palo Alto with his family and enjoys hiking, poker, and cooking.
