Jennifer Burns is a Deputy Director in the Division of Supervision & Regulation (S&R) at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. Her responsibilities include oversight of the Federal Reserve’s supervisory program for systemically important financial institutions (LISCC).
Jennifer began her career as an assistant examiner in the Bank Supervision and Regulation department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. After holding various roles within the department, including leading the Bank’s large bank supervision function, in 2010 Jennifer took the helm as Senior Vice President for the Supervision, Regulation and Credit division. She was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2015. In September 2017, Jennifer assumed her current responsibilities at the Board of Governors.
Jennifer holds a B.A. degree from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business.
