
Jeff Samuel is the Americas Head of Group Governmental and Regulatory Affairs at UBS, where he is responsible for managing UBS’s banking and securities regulatory engagement and US Resolution Planning. He also manages global coordination across UBS’s regional regulatory affairs teams. Prior to joining UBS in 2016, Jeff was the head of regulatory strategy and engagement at Barclays with responsibility for the IHC implementation plan and previously served at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where he was a specialist in capital policy and managed Basel II/III implementation and vice-chaired the Federal Reserve's capital adequacy group. In prior roles, Jeff served in various roles at the World Economic Forum and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Jeff has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Duke University in Economics and Political Science.
