Mr. Hoyer advises financial institutions on regulatory matters including risk, operations, and governance, and interpretation and implementation of federal banking agency regulations, guidance, and supervisory expectations. Prior to joining Chain Bridge Partners, Mr. Hoyer was with the FDIC for 25 years where he served as a Deputy Director in the Division of Risk Management Supervision. As Deputy Director he was responsible for the oversight of the supervision and resolution planning of the largest, most systemically important financial institutions, and advising FDIC Board members on related matters within his portfolio. Mr. Hoyer holds a B.S. in Accounting from Missouri Southern State University and attended the University of Wisconsin’s graduate school of banking.
